We are created and destroyed by the natural world; between those big moments we build our homes inside that same natural world and observe it with both love and fear. With this narrative in mind, the Wassaic Project presents Building on Sand: a program of video art, curated by Joshua Frankel. These works respond to and celebrate our peculiar predicament of living in a world where we draw power from nature but are ultimately at its mercy.
