My wife Eve Biddle and I designed this mural in Indianapolis, painted on the exterior wall of an earn-a-bike program called Freewheelin.

Kids work at the shop, learning to fix bikes and run the store. After a certain number of hours, they get to take home a bike.

The mural merges the cassette of a bicycle wheel with a sunrise. Both are sources of energy and power.

We painted the mural with our friends Shana Siegel and Laura Nesson, as well as the kids and staff of Freewheelin.

Sunrise was commissioned by The Indianapolis Arts Council.
